My mind's ways

As I lay down to sleep,
one echo, one dream,
steps into my giving in.
Could that be you
who's gonna come,
or is it me
that long so much,
to make a wish,
to say a prayer
and you will almost
take it there,
no one to scare you,
nothing to fear,
just as long I feel
your touch,
lingering in the air.
I toss and turn,
I cannot sleep,
it must be me
who's in distress,
while the darkness
keeps me safe,
from all my mind's ways.

Marylin haunts me
I just don't know why,
is it the image that devours me
or it's the last time seeing you smile?

Marylin haunts me
dancing in the dark,
wearing white-feeling fine
all went by in a sudden crash.



Marylin haunts me
woman to woman
a misty icon of what I have become,
and not soon enough your time is up.

Marilyn haunts me
in her deathbed-after she's gone,
put down your shiny armour
now the game is already lost.

Looking back at the time
that we met
bringing back the memories
we shared

The only thought

Have you ever felt the need
to be touched and be held
so long that it seems like a lifetime,
so much, so bad that it hurts
even to spare another thought beyond this only one.

Have you ever spend the night
trying to dream of a fantasy,
fall asleep into the darkness
and yet nothing seems
to soothe you and ease your troubling heart.

Have you ever wished upon the stars
that you would make it through somehow
within your powers, within your reach
in your little big world
chasing your blues away with a kiss.

You must have done these my friend,
you surely must have crossed the borders
touch the horizon, set for the sky,
if only you wanted to feel like a human again
and yet fall down on your knees like mortals do.

Waiving lillies

Aiming at the clouds, rising high
I brought you some lillies for an occassion so right
I tried to forget you, I tried as I might,
and yet all these flowers reminded me of a night.

A colourful evening that lead to a night,
when we were together feeling so right
the sky was awesome, the stars shone so bright
the warm of your body was leading me right.

Still for one good reason or other besides,
the fantasy was over before it began
and there I was standing confused and deprived
of your sweet loving, your face and your smile.

I took back the flowers, holding them tight
I was kind of lonesome while my feelings went by,
waiting to kiss you, I was playing with my mind
while the lillies waived me good bye.

Dancer in the dark

Here I stand all by myself,
just like in a dream,
the dark has come for good,
in perfect awe of it all.

Seems I am becoming a dancer in the dark,
a creature of my own, a fantasy!

Here I find the way to the door,
that leads me back to where I started from.
The sights and sounds call out my name,
there's no-one to blame for the ecstacy!

Here I lie, half conscious, half torn,
I am calling out for more, in a strange silence.
The sweet music that I hear has ceased to cry for love,
I have to look inside to find it.

Here I am again, in no man's land, in utopia.
I cross the Rubicon, I dive into deep,
I fall myself asleep, only to wake up next
dancing for the moon, a creature so unreal!

Seems I am becoming a dancer in the dark,

I wish I could turn this thought away,
So as to keep my mind sane,
Off from the haunting ghost of you,
I’m so messed up what can I do?

And sadness became a part of mine,

A Shade of Red!

A flower flows into the sea beyond the river Kwai,
it looks as if like you and me, know the reasons why.

A red rose stood right next to me after we kissed goodbye,
a Monday morning you and me below the clear blue sky.

The rose pedals turned to me, looking away up high,
I feel as if there's more to find in terms of how can I.

How can I reach out to your heart riding the bright light,
the one that leads into the path of bliss and pure delight.

Escaping From Reality

I dreamt a dream of pure delight
to cast a spell into the light,
to ride the wind above the clouds,
so as to catch the love of ours.

I stranded in the woods at night
only to find myself searching for the almight
and then I walked much to my awe,
to see my quest keep going on.

I soon became a butterfly
that flew the heavens aiming high,
I kissed the sun and touched the moon,
to end up waking in the thought of YOU!
